Before you book: once you have decided
which trip you are interested in, we recommend that you please
read carefully the detailed trip itinerary for your chosen trip, our Adventure travel note, all
our General Information, and the Booking Conditions. If you
are unsure as to the suitability of a trip for you, please Contact us to talk it through.
Our trips are based on a minimum Group size (shown under each trip)
and will run once this number is reached. If you have any queries
before you book, please Contact us to talk them through to your satisfaction. If you make a
provisional arrangement over the phone, we will hold this for 10 days
until you confirm with a completed booking form.
When you book: the earlier you book,
the better; this not only secures your place on a trip, but also gives
you the best chance of obtaining the keenest price for your Flights. You will need
to complete a Booking Form,
guaranteeing the correctness of the information you supply.
Please include on your Booking Form any Single
supplement items, Trip Extensions, special
requests or extras and we will do our best to arrange them.
When you send your Booking Form, you will also need to make
payment of your deposit of 10% of the trip cost per person subject to a
minimum of £100 (or $200) per person. If you book
within 8 weeks of your departure date, the full trip cost is payable
when booking.
We will either contact you to discuss any
outstanding issues with your booking, and/or we will issue a
Booking Receipt that will detail your trip price based on the best
current flight prices (see Flights)
and Exchange Rates, and we will
then ask you to pay for your flights (if you wish to secure the flights
price) in addition to the trip deposit you have already paid.
At this stage, we strongly recommend that you take out
appropriate travel Insurance to protect you should you
have to cancel, but also during your holiday.
Payment methods are detailed on the Booking Form, with
cheques being payable to EAST AFRICAN ADVENTURE LTD. We would
draw to your attention that there is a 2% charge for payments by credit
card of payment in full on booking, or of payment of the balance.
There is no charge for payments by cheque or debit card.
If we do not hear from you with any queries within 10 days from date of
Booking Receipt, we will issue a confirmation invoice to you showing
your trip, flight and extras details, the balance due and its date for
payment. The balance is payable 8 weeks before
departure and we do not issue payment reminders. Should
you wish to make any changes after the issue of a confirmation invoice,
we will charge an administration fee of £25 (or $50) - (please
see 'Changes by you' under Booking
Conditions). |
