Insurance
It is essential that every traveller joining one of our
trips has suitable and adequate adventure holiday insurance cover for
the whole trip and we recommend it is in place at the time of booking.
In fact, for the protection of our travellers, we make it a condition
of booking that any traveller must have insurance cover that is
appropriate for the activities of an adventure trip, covering as a
minimum emergency medical, recovery and repatriation costs.
You may already have an annual travel insurance policy,
and if so, you will need to make your insurer fully aware of the
detailed trip itinerary and the activities you will be involved in to
ensure your existing policy will cover you for your chosen trip.
You are entirely responsible for the suitability of your own insurance
cover, as we do not check alternative policies.

Should you require travel insurance, we have arranged a
comprehensive insurance scheme, which is specifically tailored to the
needs of our adventure trips, with Travel & General Insurance
Company plc. Travel & General are acknowledged specialists in
the field of travel insurance, and we believe this scheme will give you
the insurance protection you need at a competitive price. Please
note that the travel insurance is only available to residents of the UK
and the Republic of Ireland.
EAST AFRICAN ADVENTURE is not an agent of Travel &
General and your insurance contract is directly between you and Travel
& General. Consequently, we do not provide any advice
regarding travel insurance, and as responsibility for the suitability
of insurance is yours, it is important you understand before you take
out adventure holiday insurance cover what is and what is not covered
by the policy and that it properly covers your participation in our
trip. Please also be aware that you will be required to satisfy
the health declaration for insurance purposes.
We set out below summary information for both Single
Trip, or Annual Multi Trip policies.
