Any new experience brings with it new rewards (eg mountain climbing and trekking to stand on the summit of Kilimanjaro), new challenges and very often a new set of mistakes just waiting to be made!...... but, we are talking here about YOUR trekking holiday or walking holiday to East Africa, so wouldn't it be better if those mistakes were avoided?

We have been travelling to Africa for over thirty years and have learned a lot about the countries, the people and their different ways of life.  We have also made quite a few mistakes over that time and learned from them, as well as from the many experiences and mistakes of fellow travellers.

We have drawn upon those experiences and common mistakes to produce our own that we are pleased to share with you for free so that you can avoid some simple mistakes and make your adventure holiday to East Africa a better one.
